Gold Lightan is the main hero of the classic 1981 anime Golden Warrior Gold Lightan (黄金戦士ゴールド・ライタン), produced by Tatsunoko Productions. He is a transforming robot who fights against the evil Ivalda Empire, which seeks to conquer Earth with its mechanical army.
